Metis Engineering Ltd, founded in 2016 and headquartered in Bristol, UK, specialises in the development and manufacture of advanced Environmental, Navigational and Inertial CAN-based sensor solutions for the automotive and energy storage industries. Our product line includes the Cell Guard, H Guard, and Air Wise sensors, designed to monitor critical parameters such as battery health, hydrogen leaks, and air quality. These sensors are integral to enhancing safety and efficiency in electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel systems, and HVAC applications. 

 In addition, we have a range CAN connected state-of-the-art Navigational sensors that deliver precise positioning, direction and movement tracking. Whether for robotics, drones, or autonomous vehicles, these sensors deliver reliable Dead Reckoning, Assisted Dead Reckoning, GNSS/GPS and compass data to optimise navigation performance in any environment.   

Our advanced CAN inertial sensors offer superior motion tracking and stability through the use of accelerometers, gyroscopes and magnetometers. 

We have also developed hardware to convert analogue signals to a digital output; with application anywhere measurements need to be fed into a CAN-based system.
