This CAN Development Kit pairs with Generation 1 R&D Sensors.

It has a 6 pin JWPF connector that connects to a sensor and 2 DSUB 9 pin connectors – one male, one female that provide a CAN connection to the sensor (it does not provide power – CAN only). It allows for a chain of CAN sensors to be connected together.

It also features a switchable termination resistor with filtering to reduce noise on the CAN bus and a micro USB port to provide power to the sensor.

The CAN Development Kit was used in two of our latest projects: Determination of Rally Car Side Slip and Detection of Cell Venting.
